Family Description and Location

This is a lovely job for a Tagalog/English speaking housekeeper to work for a professional couple with a beautiful home in Hampstead. Their children are grown up and have their own homes. The Principals live overseas and only use this house when they visit London. They come for about a week every month.

Job Description

The Principals already have one very nice Filipina housekeeper and you would be working with her to keep the house in immaculate order for when they arrive. When the Principals are not in residence your role will be to keep the house in general good order, cleaned and presented well. When the Principals arrive your role will then include cleaning, laundry and ironing and you need to know how to look after fine clothing, setting the table for meals, changing beds and other household linen, making up the Principal bedroom suite, greeting guests, and some simple cooking (mostly for breakfast and lunch) may also be required.

Candidate Requirements

It is essential that you have worked as a housekeeper in a private residence for at least 3 years and have suitable references. You will need to speak good English and Tagalog, be able to organise your own work and your own day whilst also working with another housekeeper.

Days/Hours of Work, Accommodation and Salary

When the Principals are away you will be working Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm. When the Principals are in residence you will need to flexible with your days and hours depending on what they need. There is a staff flat in the house which you would share with the other housekeeper but you will have your own private bedroom. Salary will be in the region of £500 net pw.
